This stunning piece of poetry is by Taylor Mali who performed at Inkymole's 'If a girl writes off the world exhibit'. He was brought in for a super-duper exclusive show, the poets and performer were curated by Sage Francis who also performed alongside Tom Inhaler. The artwork in the exhibition was by Inkymole (aka Sarah Coleman). All of the work at the show was inspired by Sage's lyrics/words/poems. Sarah brought her show to New York after the ridiculously successful showing in London at which Sage also performed acapella, unfortunately this was not recorded and will only live as a very special memory inside the lucky people that witnessed that very special night. Anyway, Taylor Mali is the don poet winning slams right, left and center (probably not too far to the right admitedly). His 'how to write a political poem' found its way on to Sage Francis' album 'Known Unsoldier'.
