If you get to NYC some Mon­day night, please come and see my au­then­tic 11 piece 1920s/ear­ly 30s band: the Nighthawk­s. We play at Sofi­a’s [221 W. 46th St, NY­C] from 8pm-​11pm . There’s a dance floor or plen­ty of seats to just lis­ten and get hap­py!

I love this as there is NO SWING DANC­ING! Lindy hop­pers at your gigs need to learn that there's a coun­ter­clock­wise line of dance on the floor. Flail­ng around ev­ery­where makes it im­pos­si­ble for trav­el­ing dancers (i.e. all ev­ery­one in this video) to dance! This is what peo­ple were re­al­ly do­ing.
