So, my old writing partner and I got hired to do a commercial for a local diner. This was our concept pitch - in each commercial, a sleeping person would be told about the diner's menu, and when they woke up would find themselves craving the food. After 5 or so spots, the the biggest-budgeted commercial would showcase a legion of sleepwalkers converging on the restaurant in the dead of night. The owners loved it, but the diner closed down before we could shoot the "REAL" commercial. Nonetheless, here is our concept short, shot in one take.
