A mocumentary depicting the undead population's fight for civil rights in the heart of the mid-west. Winner of Best Comedy at the Fargo Film Festival and ValleyCon. Filmed on 16mm with a rough budget of $2,000. Shot in five consecutive days, the one single set-back the film suffered was a jammed film magazine on the last day of shooting...the total time lost was about twenty minutes.
Filmed with the largest cast both I and my co-writer/director had ever dealt with. The film was met with such hype, random people were calling and volunteering to be extras or background zombies. Who were we to say no?
Much of the film was improvised, and the film's script was only used as a general gudline as to what would happen. Many of the interview subjects were random people that we prepped briefly for their role; all dialogue was up to the subject...so much fun.
