Short film for a contest a few months back. Though the competition had been going on for 3 months, I only heard about it 3 weeks before the deadline. Because I was a fan of the director, and watched his films growing up in Hong Kong, I put this short production based on one of my short stories I've been writing since college. I've been waiting to do a full re-shot in March 2008. Description: THE LAST DAYS OF HONG KONG 1997 is approaching and Hong Kong is headed back under Chinese Control. Which causes a power struggle with some Hong Kong Crime families wanting to leave clean, and others fighting for total control of Hong Kong. This is one story of one families struggle, Joseph,Daniel and Talia. Joseph and Talia, Husband and Wife want out of Hong Kong for the future of their children and to keep Joseph's brother Daniel away from the family business. However, the biggest Boss in Hong Kong and mentor to Joseph doesn't want himn to leave.
