Description:

This Video Nugget hails from February, 1988 (Just a
hiccup over 20 years old), and is as Dark and Ironic
as you could ask for...Morton Downey, Jr. humourously
contemplates his own death with representatives of
The American Cryonics Society, including Gerald
Arthus, who wanted his head removed and frozen
upon his death (which may, or may not have actually
happened by now), Philip Kirschner, of the Alcor
Life Extension Group (who has now outlived both
Gerald and Mort, The Best Revenge...), but likely
most amusing of all, it is Eddie Gunz's TV Debut,
LONG before "Ringside Highlights", as I was part
of the studio audience on this "Chilly" February Night.
This Video Clip never fails to send me into helpless
paroxysms of laughter, and my doctors have asked
that I not watch it EVER again, so enjoy...In retrospect,
perhaps Mr. Downey should have listened more closely...He might be sharing a stainless steel tank
and liquid nitrogen with Baseball Great Ted Williams...
