with the somber choral mu­sic hum­ming the back­ground while you watch nukes slow­ly move their way across the map and hit cities with a dis­tant "boom" sound with text com­ing up like "Hong Kong hit, 18.2 mil­lion dead" do you ev­er just sit back and won­der if the world will end as the way it's de­pict­ed in this game? Like how one day ev­ery coun­try will just turn on each oth­er and nuke the hell out of one an­oth­er?

Some­times I just feel aw­ful play­ing the game. I love the strat­e­gy in it, but then I watch my bomber hordes un­leash­ing on cities, and my si­los open­ing up, and I have on oc­ca­sion had to stop play­ing for a mo­ment and think about what I was do­ing. Now That's an ex­pe­ri­ence.
