DIRECTOR'S BIO
A native of the Washington, DC area, I spent most of my life pursuing technical interest and challenges. Armed with a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering and a desire to invent the next big thing, I began my professional career working for the infamous National Security Agency in Ft. Meade, Maryland. After 5 years of service, I could no longer suppress the feeling of discontent with my current profession.
Discussing things over with my wife of 9 years, Ashera, we decided that it was best for us to leave the comforts of family, friends, & familiarity and move to Los Angeles, where she could more freely pursue her music career, and I could begin my career in film and television. So, in April of 2006, we sold our house, packed up our two kids, and moved to California.
After only a year of Californian life and no major breakthroughs to show for it, I began working in the technical field again out of necessity, and I hated every minute of it. My employers picked up on this and decided to discontinue my position after only 5 months. Needless to say, this was a very low point for me. I managed to fail at both what I love and what I hated.
As a last ditch effort to get the entertainment industry out of my system, I decided to attend a local film festival and make it my swan song. This is where my short-lived career as an actor would end, but fate had other plans.
It was here that I met friends and production partners Peyton and Lony’e Perrine. Inspired by a message of “create your content,” I wrote a short film within a week of the festival. Now, we head forward with a new perspective accompanied by a great product.
