A college student who also has a interest in witchcraft and the occult (Venetia Stevenson) goes to the small New England village of Whitewood. This spooky little town becomes even more frightening when the student discovers that the owner of the Raven's Inn, Mrs. Newless (Patricia Jessel) is really a 268-year old witch. Mrs. Newless had sold her soul to the Devil in order to live again after being burned at the stake and the whole town is part of her coven, including the student's history professor (Christopher Lee).
