I own a pure­bred Dal­ma­tian ...in fact have had sev­er­al. the poor dears are love­ly an­i­mals but suf­fer so bad­ly. It is heart­break­ing to watch them die.

The whole idea of "Breed Stan­dards" are crap. No dog, cat, horse or any oth­er an­i­mal should be bred for any par­tic­u­lar phys­i­cal ap­pear­ance. This whole idea brings about noth­ing but trou­ble, as seen in this video. Dogs should be bred for health, in­tel­li­gence and their abil­i­ty to work, not look­s!
