CP REMIXED is City Paper's new concert series. The event’s performers are selected each time by a different figure in the local music community, showcasing different genres and areas of expertise. The kick off event was hosted by City Paper’s Music Editor, Aaron Jentzen featuring OHMU, David Bernabo & Assembly, DJ Edgar Um, and Discuss. The event was held at The WYEP Community Broadcast Center and food & drink were provided by The Quiet Storm and Penn Brewery. Save the date for the next CP REMIXED on January 15th. Girl Talk, a.k.a. Gregg Gillis will be the featured curator! The performers, handpicked by Gillis for the event will be DJ Cutups, a regular at Fuzz!, Lazer Crunk and other electronic nights, multidisciplinary sound/electronics, artist Michael Johnsen, percussive duo Italian Ice (Sam Pace of Centipede Eest and Paul Quattrone), and one more performer TBA.
