After hosting a wildly successful debut MoHo Event at The Shelbourne Hotel at this year’s Winter Music Conference in South Beach, Miami, it was evident that the time was right to bring the brands unpretentious, let your hair down, soulful vibe to partygoers in their hometown of Los Angeles. Libertine on the famed Sunset Strip was a perfect choice. Formerly Charlie Chaplin’s house and located across the street from the famed Chateau Marmont Hotel – this modern-day speakeasy has been redefining the way Hollywood’s cosmopolitan meet and unwind. Their strict no guest list and no attitude policy, accompanied with an extremely hospitable staff is a refreshing departure from the typical velvet rope Hollywood norm. Libertine’s concept, along with their plush, warm décor, exceptional gourmet comfort food, drink prices that won’t burn a hole in your pocket, spacious outdoor smoking patio with it’s own bar, and hip, sexy clientele are a match made in heaven for the MoHo brand! MoHo super duo, Groove Junkies, are on board as resident DJ’s and the guys will be throwing down their hybrid assortment of deep, soulful, teched-out house music with special guests, and featured artists. Their recent Summer Tour ended with a bang as they tore the roof off at sold out events in London @ The End hosted by dance music heavyweights MN2S, and in Ibiza @ Pacha at David Morales’ slammin’ Def Mix party. By the tour’s end Groove Junkies Evan Landes and Parrish Wintersmith literally took clubland by storm on 4 different continents! Get ready for a treat as Friday nights will never be the same.
