The island of Oahu, Hawaii was filled with flooded streets and stronger rain then Hawaiians have seen in over 35 years, yet that didn't stop them from seeing Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest at his MySpace Release Show at the Pipeline Cafe. Thousands stood in line at Dig Lifestyles to pick up their tickets as well as arrive at the venue to see Tip perform for the first time ever in the islands. He mentioned frequently that he or Tribe has never been here before. "I want to come back in March!" he proclaimed before getting into Tribe classics "Check the Rhyme," "Oh My God," "Scenario," "Award Tour," "Sucka Nigga" and solo hits like "Let's Ride," "Vivrant Thing." "Getting Up", "Move" and ending with his new song "Life is Better" featuring Norah Jones.
