French Freestyle-Soccer-Player Séan was crowned world freestyle football champion on tuesday 18 november 2008 in São Paulo, Brazil. Participants from 42 countries battled it out head-to-head in the South American footballing Mecca for the prestigious title at the Red Bull Street Style 2008 World Finals. Right in the heart of the thousands of fans cramming the Complexo Exportivo do Pacaembú were superstars Edgar Davids (NED), Bebeto (BRA), and futsal world champion Falcão (BRA), whose task it was to judge the performances of the athletes based on the criteria ball control, technique, and style in combination with the music. The next world championship is scheduled for 2010 in South Africa. Le 18 novembre 2008, Séan a conquis définitivement son statut de star mondial du football freestyle en remportant, à Sao Paulo (Brésil), mecque du football, la finale du championnat du monde "Red Bull Street Style 2008" au dépens des 42 autres compétiteurs venus des 4 coins de la planète et avec toutes les félicitations d’un jury acquis à sa cause. La légende du football brésilien, Bebeto, confesse même après la demi finale remportée face au brésilien : "Ca a été dur de voter pour un français contre un brésilien, mais le talent de Séan est tout simplement exceptionnel".
