The story of "Move" follows Kevin Iega Jeff and Gary Abbott during a winter tour as they struggle to come with in budget and put on a show. Along the way we meet the dancers in a behind the scenes look at dance and the spiritual and emotional nature of the artistic process. Issues of gender identity in dance, race dynamics with a mixed company, and politics are all explored in a modern and dynamic way. In 1995, Jeff together with Abbott formed "DRDP" to continue their mission to use the arts as a basis for empowering people and self-actualization.
