Some members of the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club visited the Hobart studios of the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) while on our Tasmania tour in July 2008. This set starts with the Gow tune "Stool of Repentance" by the Scottish master fiddler, Niel Gow, followed by the "High Road to Linton". At the end fo the service, the person often had to stand on the seat and receive the rebuke of the minister. This joyful tune obviously refers to the reason that the person ended up on the chair....!
