The re­ac­tion of Zinc and Sul­fur is much more vi­o­lent than that of Iron and Sul­fur, as Zinc is more re­ac­tive than Iron. The re­sult­ing Zinc Sul­fide will glow fol­low­ing the re­ac­tion
