RAGIA MAGNA STUDIO 0 Music by Maurizio Sammicheli and Ian Da Preda Ian Da Preda - vibraphone, live electronics Maurizio Sammicheli - guitar, live electronics Matteo Addabbo – organ, keyboards, live electronics Andrea Melani – drums Andrea Montagnani – live video art The project combines electronic experimentation, musical improvisation and visual arts. The emotional and mental imaginaries of the artists (four musicians and a video artist) create, with the aid of new technologies, visual and sonic textures inspired by the relationship between man and nature. The stage or theatre becomes the aggregative-creative center where to blend and create interaction between visuals and soundscapes. The associations Aramis and Sintesi19 have been staging since a long time videoconcerts and videotheatrical performances, because we feel that this kind of show expresses in the best way the interaction between the various artistic idioms. Ragia Magna Studio 0 is a videoconcert concieved and written by Maurizio Sammicheli, Ian Da Preda and Andrea Montagnani, that have been working together for a long time and that, beyond each of them’s personal career, have been often presenting the results of their work through Aramis. This show is also the first production of the association “Mosaico”, which is also a music school where Addabbo, Sammicheli and Da Preda teach.
